Syria Conflict: Erdogan Briefed On Turkey’s Military Operation
Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan was briefed on Turkey’s Military operation in Northern Syria at a joint operations centre in the border province of Sanliurfa.
Erdogan also met the family of nine month old Syrian baby who was killed in the cross border shelling last month.
Ankara launched its offensive against the YPG following President Donald Trump’s abrupt withdrawal of 1,000 U.S. Troops from northern Syria in early October. Turkey and allied Syrian rebels seized control of border towns of Tel Abyad, Ras Al Ain and some 120 km of land along the frontier.
